OmniaBio’s Website Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 2022

Application

This privacy policy applies to the personal information that OmniaBio Inc. (“OmniaBio”) collects about you when you visit OmniaBio’s website (the “Site”).

The Personal Information OmniaBio Collects When You Visit the Site

When you visit the Site, OmniaBio collects the personal information that you provide to us when using the Site. Examples of this type of information include your contact information (name, email and organization), as well as information you include in any communication you choose to send us, such as your address and country.

Web servers automatically collect certain information about a visit to a website, including your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address. IP addresses are unique numbers assigned by Internet Service Providers (“ISP”) to all devices used to access the Internet. Web servers automatically log the IP addresses of visitors to their sites. The IP address, on its own, may not identify you, but can do so when combined with other data automatically collected when you request a web page, such as the name of the page you visited and the date and time of your visit.

OmniaBio’s Use of Cookies

“Cookies” are an example of “digital markers”:  a small file placed on your computer by a website that you visit. They are stored there so that the web server can remember certain pieces of information about you and make your visit easier so that you do not have to reenter the same information every time. This information is used by the web server during the same or another visit to the website.

When you visit the Site, OmniaBio uses cookies to remember the forms and web pages that you visit.  The long-term cookie contains no personal information, but can uniquely identify a specific browser on a specific machine that you use when accessing the site. It remains active for two years. The short-term cookie usually expires after 30 minutes and is used to group all the website pages you visit on one occasion. When you check the “Remember Me” box after completing a form on our Site, the registration cookie enables the OmniaBio Site to show a prefilled form the next time you use it. The information stored in this cookie is a cryptographic, unique identifier. It does not contain the data you submitted; nor does it provide any means for an external application to uncover the submitted information.

OmniaBio uses cookies to collect your personal information from the sites we control. OmniaBio does not use cookies to capture any personal information about you when you visit other sites not controlled by OmniaBio.

You may adjust your browser settings to reject digital markers, including cookies. Disabling cookies when you visit our website will have no discernible impact on your browsing experience. Please consult your browser’s Help Menu for instructions.

How OmniaBio Uses Your Personal Information

OmniaBio uses the personal information we collect on our websites for the following purposes:

  • the purposes for which you provided it;
  • to process and respond to your inquiries and comments;
  • to provide information to you; and,
  • to analyze the success, effectiveness, usability or popularity of the content/service.

OmniaBio Third-Party Analytics

OmniaBio uses third-party web analytics services, including Google Analytics, which uses cookies and similar technologies to collect data (such as IP addresses) to evaluate use of, and interaction with, our site. These tools collect information sent by your browser or mobile device, including the pages you visit and other information that assists us in improving our websites. We collect and use this analytics information in aggregate form so that it cannot reasonably be manipulated to identify any particular individual user.

OmniaBio uses industry-standard SSL encryption when communicating your data.
